Timi Adegunwa

Timi Adegunwa is a Scottish-Nigerian professional with 18 years of experience in GRC, cyber security, and information security across financial services, energy, and regulated industries. She founded Black and Scot in 2012 believing Scotland's story was incomplete without its Black community.

Under her leadership Black and Scot has grown to reach over 250,000 people across its digital platforms, earning a Scottish Parliament Hero Award in 2021 and Scottish Cyber Awards recognition in 2023 and 2025.

She is the founder of Ojude Oba Online (35,000 followers) and Full Blooded Ijebu (7,000 followers in under 30 days), and holds the registered UK trademark ScotAfrique, Class 41, 2025.
